Check this Out

First of all it has been a while since I have blogged, with a combination of being quite busy and not feeling very inspired to blog recently to have slowed down, but hopefully this post will kick start my blogging routine again.

I was searching for some examples of creative projects to share with my class at Comox Valley Christian today and I came across some really neat ‘photos’. I am introducing their Creative Project requirements on Friday and I wanted to find a variety of artistic forms to express biblical topics including dance, print, and media to help spark some creativity. During my wanderings I came across this site that caught my eye. The Glue Society from Australia created these images of biblical events so they would look like Google Earth images. I love the combination of familiar events (Noah’s Ark, Crossing the Red Sea and the Cross) with modern technology. There is something profound and moving about seeing events that we often read about with such realism. I hope you enjoy.
